• Better use of our tax dollars.

To support basic services, City Hall needs to refocus its priorities. As our next Mayor, Tim Leavitt will make sure we fund basic services—like police, repairing potholes and building sidewalks—first, before spending your money on less important things.
  • Better job opportunities.

We’ve got the workforce and we’ve got the potential—so why hasn’t more been done to improve our local economy? Tim Leavitt has years of experience running a successful business, and as Mayor, he’ll use that experience to help put Vancouver’s economy back on track.
  • No Tolls.

The Columbia River Crossing is a federal asset that needs federal and state support. We can't finance this bridge on the backs of Vancouver's working class. Tim Leavitt is the only one fighting with your interests in mind, to make this bridge project affordable and equitable for all.

Leavitt for Mayor – A Better Idea

KJJ0521090998Thanks for visiting. I’m Tim Leavitt, and I look forward to serving as the next Mayor of Vancouver.

The issues right now are simple but vitally important to the future of our city: jobs, taxes and tolls. I intend to work with our local businesses to create more good jobs here in Vancouver, I will prioritize city spending to use your tax dollars more responsibly, and I will continue to oppose tolls on the I-5 and I-205 bridges as the Columbia River Crossing project moves forward.

THANK YOU for getting involved, taking part in your community, and caring enough to make a difference. Please watch the video below to see my acceptance speech on November 11, at the Firstenburg Center.
